Unlocking new dimensions of business potential with PWC's augmented reality design assets
PWC asked for assistance in designing augmented reality (AR) assets to harness the potential of virtual reality (VR) and AR technologies for their business. The objective is to create immersive experiences, simplify processes, and drive positive change through technology implementation.
PWC acknowledges the value of VR and AR but lacks the expertise to effectively leverage these technologies. They require guidance on understanding the technology and its applications to maximise its benefits for their organisation.
SGK Inc. solution involves a comprehensive approach to designing and implementing VR and AR assets for PWC. By creating fully immersive VR experiences, this enables employees to gain a deeper understanding of their company culture and foster a drive for change. Additionally, our focus on AR aims to simplify complex processes by delivering contextual information at the right time, optimising efficiency. To ensure success, SGK deploy the necessary hardware, software, and change management procedures across the organisation. SGK Inc. then launch the AR experiences internally and/or externally, aligning with PWC's vision and engaging their people in the process.
Inspired by movies like Tron and 2001: A space Odyssey and working closely with the creative team, I created a series of flat panel designs for a doicosahedron, a floating 22 face shape that could morph when interacted with. I also created assets for a hexagonal container machine with a "Tron" like floor and other various assets.
