On a mission to solve the global water crisis through sustainable development and education.
Xylem, in collaboration with Pep Guardiola, the aim is to launch a responsive web design campaign to raise awareness about the global water crisis. The campaign focuses on engaging the general public, community leaders, non-profits, and football teams to join forces in creating a safe water future.
Millions of people worldwide face the challenge of walking long distances for clean water daily, while climate change exacerbates water scarcity issues. Droughts are becoming more prevalent, affecting food prices and displacing communities. Additionally, litter pollution poses a threat to water bodies, clogging drains and exacerbating the crisis.
This involves a responsive web design campaign that rallies individuals to take action. By highlighting the six million people who walk up to 6km for clean water, we aim to create a sense of urgency and solidarity. The campaign will emphasise the importance of collective efforts in providing access to clean water for communities globally. We will showcase the impact of climate change on water scarcity, educating visitors about the consequences and mobilising them to join the cause. Furthermore, we will promote 'Plogging' — a combination of jogging and picking up litter — to address the issue of pollution.
Through engaging web design, compelling storytelling, and user-friendly features, I hope this inspires people to become water heroes. The campaign will harness the power of technology, social media, and collective action to raise awareness, drive positive change, and make a lasting impact on water accessibility and environmental sustainability.
